Hello Tica;
We are with you and your mom all the way here!
You are both in our prayers. You and your mom are amazing people. Let your mom know how much you enjoy her humor, if you give her a glowing smile for every attempt, she will feel 10 times better.
God Bless

Hello all,
If feels a long time since the last time I was here. I went to Costa Rica (2nd time after her diagnosis) to see my mom last August (8-17), and it was a very good time.
She looked very good, responding to the treatment and having a good sense of humor!!!!
In all honestly, I felt much better seing her and seing how well she is eating and how strong she is acting to fight for this. At that point she just finished her 2nd cycle of chemo, this past week she finished her 4th and last one for now. The oncologist wants to review new x-rays and check for progress, her appointment is coming soon.
We are praying that the treatment is working and that God is healing inside. We don't want to give up!!!!!
I talked to her yesterday and she sounded very well . It makes me happy because being this far it's a big challenge.
Lots of prayers for all of you,

Hi Tica, Glad to know that your Mother is able to fight this and still function fairly well. It sure helps when we don't have to watch our loved ones suffer each day.
Hope it stays well for her and that the treatments do their work. _________________ Mary

Hello Tica
I am so glad the visit went well when you went to see your mum. It is terrific that she has a good sense of humour still as that shows tremendous strengthg of character and fight, which is important.
And remember, this was after the latest course of chemo.
None of us can ever give up. There is always hope.
You take care of yourself. The fact you are so far away is something I relate to as my dad is 10 hour drive away plus ferry. Its not easy but you can keep in touch through regular calls. (remember to get best deals possible to keep costs down).
My thoughts are with you. |
