Howdy from Texas! I am brand spaking new to this site and have already came across many stories that are a little close to home. I was diagnosed with Hodgknis Lymphoma back in April 2007 I have gone through chemothearpy treatment (ABVD) then followed by radiation. I went into remission "if thats what you would call it" for about 5 months after. Then exactly one year later, April 2008, my H.L. came back, but this time it came back on my right aux 2nd rib, which had to be removed. I have now gone through a more aggressive chemothearpy called ICE. I am acutally on my last month of chemo but I am currently whipping out all of my white blood cells to under go a stem cell transplant, so I will be here in this wonderful room all month of August. But I hope i can meet some great people through here i just wanted to tell some of my story and if I could give some insight to others or vice versa I would appreciated!!! Best of luck to everyone!!! M Smile

Hi Mortz

Welcome. Sorry to hear about the relapse, not the news you wanted to get, You sound pretty upbeat , which is good, much better than being miserable in my opinion Smile
Relapse is the thing that is never far from your conscious thoughts, at least that has been the case for me. I can't say it scares me as such, but it is always there in the background and I wish I could push it further away.
I can't really say much to you to help in this situation. You now doubt are aware of your chances and have a good understanding of how the treatment will affect you, having been through it before, albeit with a different chemo regime. All I can really say is good luck, fight the good fight and kill that HL Smile

Good luck on your journey, I hope we get good news in a few months time Smile
