Is there anyone here who had cancer or knows someone that had cancer and was able to bear children? I'm 24yrs old and I was diagnosed twice, first time in 02 and second in 04. I'm a little worried because I've been through so many treatments. I want to have kids some day. Rolling Eyes

There really is no definitive "NO" to you situation. The "treatments" dont really help us (those of us who have undergone cancer treatments) have kids, and certianly they do tax the bodies ability to function.

The way I was told by my doctor was that when I was doing the raidation, I was at a low chance for having kids during that time.

Duh. You're frying my crotch with raidation.

6 months after my treatment, he said things should go back to normal with limited disadvantages.

I dont have any kids. I havent tried to have any kids at this point. When I do want to start down that path, I start taking more actions to help that process (more exercise and better nutrition).

Keep your head up and go lift some weights. ^^
