Hello there! i'm a 25yr old female and I'm hoping to have some of my anxiety alleviated lol.

About 2 years ago i developed a small (dime sized) red bump on my butt, of all places. It doesnt hurt, it doesn't bleed, its just kinda there. I never really thought anything of it until i developed a bruise on it a few weeks ago. The bruise is gone but I'm still concerned about it. Adding to my concern is the development of new freckles/moles. I've noticed some on my arms and thighs and a few near the bump. I haven't gotten a sunburn in years and I'm just neverous as to why they're appearing. They dont look suspicious and I already have tons of freckles/birthmarks from birth. So a part of me is thinking maybe they're not new and I'm just being paranoid but a part of me is really freaking out about all of this.

You should just go to the dermatologist and get checked. It will give you peace of mind. I don't think you can go by the pictures you see on the internet about what's bad and what's not. I had a horrible looking one and it was nothing. But since I was going in to get it checked, I made my husband go in too. That was a little over a year ago and he's had two melanomas. They are in situ and less that one millimeter but it's scary to think about what could have been if we hadn't gone to the doctor.
