Last month I spent 25days in the hospital receiving high dose chemo w/ stem cell recovery. Soon I'll be going in for low dose radiation, which takes what, from experience in the past a few minutes for just a month or so. I know that both are just damaging, chemo I know is even more intense, but darn how I wish chemo could be just as easy and quick. Man high dose chemo is no joke, it made my hearing in my left ear go mild, so now I can't really hear as well as my right, but overall it's not as serious compared to what I've been through. And overall, eventhough I'm not the same, I feel that it was worth it, in order to destroy the tumor in my brain, that's the risk and I'm just happy to be alive! =)

Hello

High-dose chemotherapy is really no child's play. Congratulations on finishing part of the treatment. I hope things work well for you. You can count on these forums, as many people come here and share their experiences.
