I discovered a lump on the side of my thigh a few weeks ago. It is about halfway between my hip and knee, on the outside of my thigh. It is hard to determine how large it is, since there are no distinct borders to it, but I would say about 2-3 inches long and about 1 1/2 inch wide. It is not painful and is soft, not hard. It does not seem to move around when I push on it - like I said, it is hard to determine where it exactly begins and end because of this.

I am wondering if this is just a fatty tumor? I heard that they have distinct borders, though?

Thoughts?
