We Met as though we were destined by fate,
At a time in our lives when our needs were great,
Our two lives merged and now we are four,
Your wife, My husband and 2 daughers more.
Our love grew to heights we could never imagine,
Our souls in tempo, our hearts true companion,
we take on lifes hurdles with leaps & bounds,
Never giving up, and never loosing ground.
Two years together and now cancer we face,
The diagnosis was shocking as we slow down our pace,
with demons surrounding us, trying to take over,
we take day by day standing stronger and stronger.
Times slow pace, our fate unknown,
but our faith is our family & love has shown,
That this evil while a burden for the time being,
Has seen it's last hour and soon shall be leaving.
For nothing can dissolve this amazing family,
strength is our shield & love holds no boundry,
As a knight take his sword and holds it up high,
we take on lifes battle and bid them good-bye.
So let it be known our love is forever,
This world & beyond, always together,
For Fate has in store a beautiful story,
Of Love, Hope, Family & Ultimate Glory.

So tired of struggles and obstacles I face,
So tired of feeling I'm way off of pace,
I feel though I'm given more hurdles each turn,
As life comes right at me the more that I learn.
No moments that linger or sound peace of mind,
No silence to hold me or calm days to find,
but somehow I manage to put on a mask,
And mindlessly do & complete every task,
Forget having answers or understanding why,
No time to waste questioning no time to dare try,
Spontaneous thinking quick choices to make,
hoping and praying there'll be no mistake,
And yet still I wonder why's this happening to me,
As each day before me seems a set destiny.
