I know that this is a day of mixed feelings for a lot of us. My mother died of GBM grade IV back in 1998... almost 9 years ago. She had only 2 month post diagnosis to live. I was blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with her during those last weeks of her life. Currently, I live in the house that she and my father called home for almost 15 years. So I am surrounded by memories of her. I do miss her.

Mom, I wish I had told you more often how much I love you. I wish I had a better vocabulary in which to express my love for you. However, I always knew how much you loved me. Thank you for being my mother.
