Hello,

My name is Kyler Kelley. I was Diagnosed with Stage IV Burkitts Lymphoma in June of 07. I am 26 years old and currently in the US Army. I went through six months of Chemo (Hyper-CVAD with Rituxin) and about 26 interthecal treatments through an Omaya port in my head. As of December I was declared Cancer Free, and proceeded to Radiation treatments for preventive measures. I have re enlisted to serve our country for another 6 years. As of today I am preparing for a stem cell harvest so they can freeze my stem cells in case I relapse. I am starting to feel alot better and like my old self again. I need to get back into shape but I am trying to take it easy getting back in to the swing of Army Life. The Omaya port was removed from my head due to an infection and it is healing up well. I would love to stay involved in the NHL forums for informative and most definately support. I have had a very rough past 8 months and I am sure i can share plenty of informative stories for anyone coping just like I was. I am married with 2 children and have a whole new perspective on life. Please feel free to read my Caring Bridge website at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kylerkelley Its been a long and tough journey but things seem to finally be looking up for me. If anyone has any questions please feel free to PM or Email me.

Kyler Kelley

Hello Kyler Kelley,
Your story of treatment & recovery is inspirational & I do believe your input on the NHL forum would be invaluable for our members. Perhaps you could post "your story" to this thread for our members to read? The support, advice & comfort you could provide with your experiences would be most helpful.
Welcome to our forum. We are a close community offering advice, support, comfort & love to many.
I look forward to reading about your amazing story in detail.
Cheers, Angie.
