To all of you who are mother's, I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!
I know that many of our mother's have died of cancer. What better way to celebrate Mother's Day than to find some significant way to celebrate their lives. I play to take flowers to my mother's and grandmother's graves and to spend a significant amount of time telling my children about their wonderful grandmother and great-grandmothers.
For many of our community, this will be your first Mother's Day without your mother. My heart and prayers go out to each of you.
You can post your thoughts about your mother by replying to this post. _________________ Jim

Happy Mother's Day Mum. You are a constant source of inspiration to me with your strong faith & love. I appreciate all that you do & no longer take you for granted.
You were my strength & courage when I was so ill a few years ago & the time you sacrificed from Dad who was so ill in the Nursing Home to stay with me at my home & nurse me & my Husband & Children during the darkest period of my life....well, I cannot find a word/words to express my love & gratitude to you.
And then less than 12 mths later to lose Dad & go through your darkest period. Your amazing faith, strength & love has enabled you to be an inspiration again to all of us.
Then last year when Mark was diagnosed with his brain tumour....how can something so terrible happen in our family again! After all the torment & sadness we have already endured. There you are once again, setting the example for all of us with your amazing Faith, Love & Wisdom. Your Faith is the most incredible & inspiring strength you have....you are our Angel on this Earth.
I love every moment I share with you, it is the most precious time, through our tears & laughter, above all shines your light! It is a Beacon for all of us.
God bless you Mum, every day & especially today on Mother's Day. The Love, Faith & Strength you show me, give me much hope & determination to be more like you.
Love you, Angie. _________________ Brother diagnosed with GBMIV Feb 07
