Hello folks,

Recently, March 24, 2008, I had radical hysterectomy. On the cervix my Doc found three tumors: the biggest was 4 cm, the smallest was 1 cm, one of them hung on a vascular, one of them was 7 mm deep.
The fact that I had 3 tumors on the 1 stage, made my Doc sent me to radiology.

To the chase: From the conversation with radiologist, I found out, that treatment has plenty of side effects, as my ovaries will lose all they functions, vagina gets smaller & etc.

I'm 33, I probably will never get money for to fertilize a surrogate mother, but forcing me to menopause idea got me really depressed. I have one child, I'm married, but my relationships with husband went down the hill (to divorce) before I've been diagnosed with cancer (Feb 2008). Frankly, from my point oncoming radiology seems to be converting me from half-woman to none, to Ground Zero.

Folks, I really need to know from your experience or knowledge how dangerous (or helpful) radiology could be, how is forcing to menopause could affect me or any other good tip about.

By the way, is there personal life after cancer.

Please, hurry, my oncologist and radiologist insist to start treatment immediately.

Thanks to everyone in advance.

Yelyzaveta,

Firstly i have to deeply apologise for the delay in responding and replying to you. I have not had radio, nor know much of the symptoms or problems there after. BUT there is a life after Cancer. I have also had a few friends who did lose all of their chances to bare more children- some their only. So 2 adopted, and the other couple help needed choildren in foster and children lost in the system. This helped fill the emptyness in them, as a family. I have also had 2 women i know of that have had a miricle and concieved. Very very rare, from what i understand 1 in a million. Or something like that.

All I mean is, there is ways. Ways to fill the void, the emptyness. And when it comes down to it. Your alive and have a beautiful healthy child.

Please tell me how things are?, have you had treatment, and maybe you could let me know, and others know how and what is happening with the treatment. May help others like you.
