There is absolutely no evidence to show that cancer is triggered by working on a computer.

However, it is vital to ensure that you walk around every hour and that you do not stare constantly at the screen. Sitting hunched over a computer can result in serious spinal problems and staring at a screen can cause problems with your eyes.

I have heard of problems- in males, If they have a lap top and it's on their lap for long periods. Manly news on being sterile and the heat can kill sperm etc. Though about 3-4 months ago. In a newspaper here in Australia. They had a article about testicle cancer from lap tops etc- Again- if they are directly on the lap.

I guess like all things, we wont know till 20 years time.

There are all sort of rumors about computers, cellphones, and other electronic devises causing cancer. However, to my knowing, know of those rumors is back by truly scientific evidence.

Hi seumadruga
I would be much more concerned about your mobile phone than a pc! If your PC has an LCD screen any radiation is minimal, almost non existent. Absolutely nothing to worry about in my humble opinion.

Cheers
