Was diagnosed with melanoma and had it removed 3/28/08. Small-.75mm. Lymph node clear. Oncologis die PET scan-ok. Returned to Dermatologist 2 wks ago for follow up and he found another spot which turned out to be another melanoma. Seems that it should have been caught with the other one. Now another .75mm and another round. Lousy dermitoligist or bad luck? Thinking of changing DR

Can I ask.........was it in the same area as the other one? I would say do what your comfortable with as far as the Dermatologist. Confidence in your medical team is very important when dealing with any medical issues. Best of luck..........
