Hi all,
Just thought I would post this as a temporary "policy" since April 1 is approaching.
Please, remember the serious nature of the CancerForums and remember that there are people in pain and grief who are very sensitive on this board. I am not telling you that you cannot pull a fast one, but just try to not cause pain in the process. In other words, no jokes about health, cancer, death... You get the idea .

I was diagnosed May 04/08. Shortly after I got home my daughter thought I needed better head coverings. I like the soft bandannas I swiped from my husband, that he carrires around in his back pocket. We won't talk about what they have been used for.....lol....but they are old and very soft on my scabbed over scar.
We were all over the mall, looking at the ugliest hats ever....haha..... We end up at JC Penneys...and aren't having any luck finding any hats....I spied a clerk at a counter ans walked over and asked her if she had any hats in the store....she looked at the older gal she was woring with. ( she was about 17 yrs. old, the one I asked).....the older gal kinda just stood there....so I said to young clerk, as I was pulling my bandana back to show a few inches of my shaved head.....I was just in your penneys stying salon, and they screwed up my hair cut, and I was lucky I had this old snot rag in my pocket to cover my head with, but was looking to see what you could do for me....The look on her face was priceless. My daughter finally, pokes me and tells me to quit messing with her.....lol....I did apologize to the young gal, and told her I just had brain surgery, and that I was just messing with her......roflmao....we left the store, hatless.....lol _________________ I'm too sexy for my hair

Christy, that is priceless . I can just imagine the look on her face... and on your daughter's face too. I get those looks of disapproval often from my kids. I think I embarrass them . Can't take me anywhere in public . _________________ Jim
