My Mom passed away at 2:30 am on July 4th...........we've declared that to be her Independence Day. Thanks to all who responded, read and prayed for her through this forum. My thoughts are with all who continue this battle. God speed.

Eleanor, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Each person that we lose is another pain in my heart. Just know that your mom is loving you and watching you from heaven. You now have your very own angel. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Eleanor,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I do hope and pray that you are able to grieve with loved ones for support at this time. I would be there with you if I could.

In addition to making it a day of independence, have you thought about it being a day to give back to causes/activities that are in the forefront of cancer research and battle? It would be a wonderful way to remember you mother by and help make her passing not an end to her and her memories, rather a continuation of hope for those who continue to and will battle this terrible disease.

Just a thought. And I do hope that I have not been intrusive or presumptuous in suggesting this.

God bless you and I do pray for you and your family.
