This is a song my 19 yr old daughter Jerica composed AND sang at my moms funeral just this past Sunday August 3/08. Mom died 11 days after we found out she had lung cancer[don't know what type of much of anything else yet] Jerica played her song on the piano as she sang.
I love you Grandma
I can't begin to describe how i feel now that your gone
I know that you are happy now your suffering no more
I picture you walking on a shore hand in hand with The Lord
I wish that we could join you now but soon enough we'll come home
And there will be no more sorrow, no pain
Only laughter and joy, praising Jesus Name
Joining in singing with all hands raised
until that day of eternity, I will say
I miss you
I love you
I will miss your words of wisdom and the love that you shared
You had enough for everyone, you showed us that you cared
I wish i could have one more hug to tell me it will be okay
But you deserve the best of best and that's where you'll stay

Oh want lovely lyrics. What a touching way to express her love for her grandmother  . I just wish we could hear her singing it. I hope you recorded it. In the future, that recording will be a treasured memory of your mother and daughter and their love for each other.
