Anyone heard of 150 pills per day and coffee enemas as tx?

Hello... My mother was recently diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer and we were looking at a doctor named Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez of New York, famous for his anti-cancer nutritional regimen (diet includes taking between 150-170 pills per day and coffee enemas)

Does anybody personally know of anyone who has been treated by him?

His methods looks very promising, we've even found videos posted on the net of patients who followed his method and were given 3-6 months to live and now, 7 years later are still talking about it.

We're not thinking this is a cure, of course, but if there's any sign of hope that some method might have worked for some people, we're willing to try it. Thank you very much...

cybergal, I am very sorry about your mother's cancer. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive types of cancer and therefore should be treated very aggressively. And even with aggressive treatment the outlook is not very good.

I have never heard of Dr. Gonzalez but 150-170 pills a day seems excessive!!! I would look further into this before starting. Coffee enemas have been around for years proposed to be helpful for a number of diseases. However, I know of no scientific poof that it does anything for than any other enemas.

About finding videos or other good looking information on the internet... anyone can post anything.

Having said that, I can truly understand looking into all possible options... especially when faced with Pancreatic Cancer.

Re Dr Gonzales, as I understand it each patient is treated individually, which means the diet and supplements identified are unique to that patient.

They are not "pills" but capsules containing the extra nutrients and enzymes.

Pills or capsules, that is still a lot to swallow. I know my father had a hard time taking 10 a day.

it is a struggle getting my mom to take 10 pills a day too..i cant imagine getting her to take 170

thanks to everyone that responded to this post.

My mother ended up going to see Dr. Gonzalez about a month ago and she started his treatment. She is feeling pretty good. Just a little tired from all of the chores that go along with this diet which is in the stage of "detoxification".

She is taking about 209 pills per day. That's not all at once, but throughout the day. A combination of vitamins and pancreatic enzymes.

Her diet is very strict. Oraganic foods; juices; cut down on alot of other foods (Basically, any foods or drinks that make the liver or pancreas work extra has been cut off from her diet so that the liver and pancreas, other than release insulin and other vital functions, can concentrate on working to get rid of the tumor)

She does also have 4 enemas per day (two in the morning, two at night)

And there are so many other things that she is doing. I've very proud of her for doing this. She did not want chemo or radiation since they were telling her that will add 2-3 months more to her life, instead she is getting her immune system in top shape. She feels better now and looks heatlhy (probably because fo all of thoe vitamins she is taking) Smile

Please keep us updated on how things go with your mom.

I agree that 200+ pills/capsules/tablets per day is a lot. But our food has less nutrition in it now than it did twenty years ago. It stands to reason that our bodies are deficient and when you are battling a disease that requires a strong immune system, you have to take extreme measures to build things back up. I don't believe that the allopaths have all of the answers, and I think it is foolish to discount alternative measures completely. You just never know, especially when you are dealing with someone's life.

I am interested to see how this works out. I'll keep you and your mother in my heart and my thoughts.

Hi, my best friends mother has pancreatic cancer and has also looked into Dr. Gonzalez. However, at the time when she applied, she was in the midst of chemo and her "application" was rejected. She just began radiation and were all hoping that it makes a difference. If things don't get better though, they want to present their case to Dr. Gonzalez again. I'm really curious to find out more about your mother's case and what the circumstances are. Has your mom done any CT scans since she began this tx? how are things looking so far? It sounds like up to when you posted, this has been amazing for her. I hope she continues on that path. Any info you can provide would be immensely helpful.
