I have been bleeding moderately heavy for about 6 days now. It has been almost three years since I had a period and was diagnosed with early menopause. I will be 49 in 10 days. My dr is sending me to have a trans vaginal us next monday.

I am very worried about what this could mean. The blood is bright red, and I just don't feel well in that area. I have had some increase in gas the past few months, more than usual. I am naturally concerned about the possibility of cancer. How do you think otherwise?

Welcome to the forum. I just saw your post today! Please don't interpret a lack of response as uncaring, unfortunately most everyone participating here are very busy, and/or dealing with illness themselves or from a love one. How did your trans vaginal turn out? One thing I can say, since you are in menopause, it is abnormal, and there is cause for concern, although it does not necessarily mean cancer. Please let us know what your tests revealed, and you are in my prayers.
