Hi,

Gosh -- I'm so sorry to hear of this news for you. Please don't be so hard on yourself. A lot of people here had little signs that were blown off because cancer isn't the first thing that pops into a normal person's mind. Not that unusual of an occurrence and certainly not something a 23 year old would expect.

I hope they are able to do something more than a 30% chance for you. Don't forget --- people beat the odds every day and statistics are just numbers.

I do get the cynical part though, but turn it around into a positive. Even if 30% is remotely true, that means 3 out of 10 beat this. Who says you can't be one of those three?
