Pemphigus vulgaris is a condition whereby 2 layers of skin fail to adhere to each other, thus resulting in severe blistering of the skin. The problem probably lies in a malfunctioning component of the cell adhesion apparatus. There appears to be no link between PV and leukemia. The only way that I can see PV being related to leukemia probably lies in similar genetic factors.
