Need feedback/help:

Does anyone have any suggestions to help with post mastectomy scar pain? My mom had a full mastectomy about 7 years ago (yea!), but still experiences periodic pain near the scar area. It's more like an extreme tightness. At the time of her surgery so long ago, no one gave her any information about anything other than suggesting the mastectomy! Reconstructive surgery was not even discussed!

If anyone has any suggestions, even well-known suggestions, please offer them to someone who is uninformed about what's out there.....
