I found a lump in my vagina.. What could it be??? What is this ?

I just had a baby 9 months ago and a few months after she was born, i started to check myself to make sure things were where they were supposed to be.. More or less, I was just checking myself.. Not too long ago i noticed a lump on the inside of my vagina.. its a very small lump and it is not painful.. I just found out, very surprisingly, that i am pregnant again.. I am so scared to go get my check up.. my boyfriends sister just found out she has cervical cancer and now i am deathly afraid.. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions.. please let me know.. Thank You...[/b]

Hello Ambers,

This can be a variety of things: herpes, cysts are examples. You should see your OB/GYN, but it is unlikely to be cancer.

Hi, Amber,
Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and your anxiety, which is so real and so hard to control. I had such a lump, which terrified me but turned out to be something called a Bartholin's cyst, which my OB/Gyn removed without incident. Not real pleasant, but not life-threatening either. It's caused by a plugged-up lubrication duct. What I mostly wondered afterward was how poor old Dr. Bartholin felt about having such a thing named after him!

i would get a biopsy,i had found a lump on the outside of the vagina dr told me it was nothing possible a ingrown hair,or wart.Went ot another dr. asked for a biopsy turned out to be pr-cancer ,
