Can Anyone Please Help,

My mother-in-law had a hysterectomy 3-weeks ago and they removed a large lump which was sent to pathology for examination. At this point it was discovered that it was cancerous. After further tests they have diagnoised her with Uterine Leiomyosarcoma which has spread to the lung. They have offered her chemotherapy in which they are not to confident about its effect.

My wife and I live in Australia and my mother-in-law lives in New Zealand - we are obviously a long way away. We have absolutely no idea of this desease and have been lead to believe that there is no known cure/treatment. If anyone could help by providing us with information, we would be truly grateful.
