Sorry this is probably in the wrong place but I could not post in the proper spot and am trying to do some research for my dad. He was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma. He had told me some info about it and had emailed me a link to a site to read up on it some. Both of us found it quite usefull. He did contact a lawyer through a link on the site as well and he said that he could expect about a 2 million dollar lawsuit against his old emplyer (construction company). I know that this sounds like a lot to me but my dad is looking to jump at the first offer he got. Is this a reasonable settelment or is this just to low. I have found info saying that it was a high paying lawsuit field but just how high? Is he making a mistake by taking the first thing he was offered or is this a fair settlment? There should be a link to the site in my signature if it helps any. I have found it as a good source of information about this horrible disease. Thanks for any help you can give.
