I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins lymphoma, i have now done 2 rounds of chemo and am about to get a cat scan and a pet scan done to see how i react to the medicine to determine if i need 2 more rounds or 4 more. After that i will also recieve radiation. I was just wondering how likely it would be for my cancer to come back after treatment is done, this is a very scary thing for me since i am only 16, i don't think i could handle more chemo/radiation. My mother also had hodgkins and she is doing fine today, except for thyroid problems from the radiation, and they say it isnt genetic. Confused

sorry to hear about your illness , im not a dr but if you go on to a web ste you can get some good answers ,try the national cancer institute , sorry i couldnt help more but i wish you luck in your fight . the human spirit is much stronger than the disease ,believe & it shall be .
