Hi, I was DX 2 years ago with BC, mucinous carcinoma. stage 1 had radiation, lump ec. and on tamoxafin for 5 years. I'm now 52.

I know the cancer I had is kind of rare, I would love to hear from anyone else with this form of breast cancer. I'm doing well but, live in fear of it coming back, or spreading. I'm trying not to let it take over my life, but it's hard sometimes. I would love to hear from anyone!

elliegirl, I copied your post to the breast cancer forum. This is a very active forum and you will get a number of replies here. I am not sure if any of our women have mucinous carcinoma cancer but the ones here will at least be better able to identify with you.

You said it was stage 1? WOW! That is fantastic. I know what you mean about the fear of recurrence. I had a primary brain cancer back in 1992. By 2005 I hardly thought about it and then it happened... a recurrence at a higher grade Rolling Eyes.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

2005 Recurrence this time said to be an Oligodendroglioma grade 3, same location.
