Young Boy with Leukemia - Mother withheld medications

Greetings,

I apologize if I am posting this in the incorrect Forum.

I heard on the news approximately two weeks ago of a young Boy who has Leukemia, and whom I believe is perhaps between ten and twelve years. The thrust of the story was that his Mother deliberately ceased providing him with his medicines, stopped picking up prescriptions, and essentially just ignored the issue. If I heard correctly this child is now past the point of being cured. Last I had heard was that she cannot be located.

I pray for the child every day but would like to be able to associate a name with him. Does anyone know his first name or otherwise recall hearing about this? I have searched the Web to no avail, yet I believe I first heard of this on CNN.

I have also heard this news story. The child's name is not public because he/she is a minor and it is illegal to publish their names.
