I would like to be in touch with someone who has stage 4, metastisis to the liver. and after many treatments is trying alternative medicine. We have gone thru, liver operation, liver grew back with more cancer, radiation therapy, which did nothing. a series of avistan and now erbutuk. Has someone tried alternate treament with the conventional treatment. _________________ shula kantor |

sorry to hear what your going through-we are looking up info at this point -my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer stage 4 2 1/2 years ago shes been through 2 major operations to remove cyts the size of a softball which grew in a 3 month span apart from each other she cannot handle chemo of any form we tried the pills we almost lost her her body rejects any needle invasions she gets clots her body rejected the port and shes had radiation-which I dont think for her did any good(just my opinion) now we are faced with something on the liver and we get the results of a (dreading) the whole body P.E.T>scan- surgery is inevitable if she allows it. they cant biopsy it because of the location...go figure -but shes still getting around and doing her thing She doesnt feel well and gets very tired now losing her appetite(I believe from stress) her back leg and bottom of her foot is hurting-as for your alternative thoughts-if we find something that seems to be working I will surely post I think we are going to research some on zeolite-have you heard anything about this? also for liver function support I know thistle helped me with chirrosis .now.cancer I dont know but it cant hurt my doctor prescribed it and I think Im going to tell mom to start taking that in the meantime. I hope someone eles with more info can help us out. thoughts and prayers are with you. |

| the problem with my son was that the liver had spread to both his lobes of the liver and after trying many treatments that didn,t help he gave up and died peacefully at home with the immediate family taking care of him. He had little pain. thanks for answering and try anything that you think might help. |

| I am sorry I brought those painfull memmories back Im not use to talking on such a serious forum, thank you for responding that was very kind of you. At least you can be comforted by the good memmories and as I can see this is a caring group of support, Altho I selfishly fear for the sadness of loss-I just as much want moms stress and pain to be gone. She misses her family and my dad that have already passed and I keep telling her that us left behind which is less than half will soon faster than we all realize will all be joined together again-. we truly believe that our family circle of love will never be broken we are and always will be here or there for each other. I pray for your comfort and peace of mind. again thanks for responding |
