Am I allowed to post an image of a questionable spot on lip

Hi just wondering if I am able to post an image of a sore on my lip?

I see we are able to post images, but just want to know if this is allowed and can I take the image from photobucket?

Thank you for asking. No, you are not allowed to post links to external sites other than to truly personal, cancer related, blogs or websites.

I addition to the reasons given in our No Links policy and more specifically about images, we have found very little value in seeing images of a person's mole, lump, growth, sore.... Their are only a couple of doctors who are members and they do not review all posts by any stretch of the imagination. Regardless, you would receive the same advice from us: "If it is bad enough to make you concerned, show it to your own doctor."

I do hope it is nothing. Keep us informed.

I did take the pictures off my other post because I don't want to be banned for something that I should have read.

That's OK. We just want to try to keep this forum as clear of spam and as helpful to member as we possibly can. In fact, this is the first day that we have allowed users to activate their own accounts so we are being a little extra cautious.
