My Mom passed away Friday morning March 7th. She was diagnosed with stage iv w/mets to the liver in Sept. and chose no treatment. I wrote this poem for my Mom on New Years Eve and would like to share it with this wonderful group.

You are my sympathy of hurts
my soother of pain
MY MOMMY

You are my conversation of understanding
my shoulder of love
MY MOM

You are my compassion of life
my rock in my garden
MY MOTHER

You are my steadiness of uneasy
my calmness of panic
MY ONE AND ONLY

You are my book of knowledge
my keeper of secrets shared
MY FRIEND

You are my muscle of strength
my courage of independence
MY HERO

You are my Queen of all hearts
my Princess of light
MY ANGEL

You are my picture of happiness
my thoughts of delight
MY MEMORIES

You are MY MOMMY
MY MOM
MY MOTHER
MY ONE AND ONLY
MY FRIEND
MY HERO
MY ANGEL

That was lovely- so deep and True. Thank you for sharing with us.

I'd like to copy this and paste in the inspirational stories, if you don't mind. I think it is amazing, and alot of people would love to see it.

If you want I can delete it if you wish not to have it there.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Mum to pancreatic and liver cancer late last year.

Your poem is beautiful and I'm sure your Mom would be so proud of you. Smile
