I'm 53 and have stage 3b cervical cancer. Was diagnosed about a year ago. I've been through chemo/cisplatin and radiation, internal and external. My last checkup was great, I have another in a week. Getting a bit nervous about it. Every new ache or pain is magnified by my imagination.
I noted the would you tell the person who gave it to you. I would not. It makes no difference, I have it and I need to heal not kick myself.
I've spent 25 years sleeping alone on the couch while my ex had the bedroom. I'm amazed the virus lasted this long. He became my ex shortly before I was diagnosed. When I told him I had Stage 3 Cervical Cancer, his response was Oh and he walked out of the room.
I'm here if you need to chat. I've been through all the treatments and have few side effects, or ignore the ones I have. I have broad shoulders to lean on and I listen well.
Keep your faith up. We will prevail. We are tough ladies! |

Hi,
I am new to this forum. You mentioned that you was sleeping alone past 25 years. Does it mean that you had cancer for that long? Did you do yearly check ups (POP) _________________ Diagnosed with Cervical Cancel. scared |
